WCTA LEADERSHIP - QUARTERLY NINE for NINE
Community service, personal leadership skill building, & random acts of kindness
Complete each one of the nine listed tasks by the end of the quarter.
You can complete them in any order that you like, but you must submit proof of one completed task each week.
You must provide photographic evidence and any applicable information for each task to be counted as complete.
HERE ARE YOUR TASKS
1. COOK DINNER for your family or provide a meal for a family in need. If you are cooking for your family, you need to set the table and clean up (or at least help with it).
Attempt to make this a surprise for your family/a family. If you have to let mom or dad in on the assignment that is fine, but try to take the initiative of serving others.
2. Make a FINANCIAL DONATION (minimum of $1) to any organization.
3. SUPPORT A FELLOW WCTA STUDENT at one of their events – athletics, school musical or play, orchestra & band performances, dance shows, art & photography shows, program fundraisers, club events, etc.
4. SEND A THANK YOU NOTE to a government employee – military member, teacher, law enforcement, firefighter, etc. Must be handwritten.
5. MAKE A DONATION to a drive – socks, canned food, books, baby item, school supplies, etc.
6. HELP A WCTA TEACHER OR EMPLOYEE for 30 minutes. This can also count towards your 10 hours of community service.
7. LEADERSHIP QUOTES - Find a quote (it can be from a speech, song lyric, poem, etc) that inspires you to be a leader.
8. INSPIRING PROGRAMS, ORGANIZATIONS and/or PEOPLE – Research & report on a program, organization or person doing some good in the world. Example: Wounded Warrior Project
9. Any RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS – your choice but don’t repeat anything listed above!
